Itinerary Do Dham Yatra Tour Package By Helicopter
Among the countless religious sites and circuits that devotees visit in
Uttarakhand, one of the most prominent is the Do Dham Yatra Package From Dehradun. This Yatra or
pilgrimage is a tour of four holy sites - Yamunotri, Gangotri and Kedarnath,
Badrinath – nestled high up in the Himalayas. In Hindi, 'do' means two and
'dham' refers to religious destinations.
The high-altitude shrines remain shut for around six months every year, opening
in summer (April or May) and closing with the onset of winter (October or
November). It is believed that one should complete the Do Dham Yatra in a
clockwise direction.
Hence, the pilgrimage starts from Yamunotri, proceeds towards Gangotri, onto
Kedarnath, and finally ends at Badrinath. The journey can be completed by road
or by air (helicopter services are available). Some devotees even do a Do Dham
Yatra or a pilgrimage to two shrines - Kedarnath and Badrinath.
- Passengers must report at Sahastradhara Helidrome by 04:30 Hrs.
- In case of delays due to NOTAM, clearances, or bad weather, passengers will be informed in advance to adjust their reporting time accordingly.
- Sersi is Himalayan Heli’s third and oldest heli-base in the Chardham sector.
- Shuttle services for Shri Kedarnath Ji operate from Sersi.
- Due to aircraft weight limitations at high-altitude destinations like Kedarnath, passengers may be flown in different shuttle flights.
- Passengers may have to wait for their shuttle flight as per the operator's flying schedule issued by UCADA on the respective date.
- Approximate time for Kedarnath Temple Darshan: 2 hours.
- Shuttle flight time from Sersi to Kedarnath: Approx. 7 minutes.
- After darshan, passengers will return to Sersi for refreshments.
- On arrival at Badrinath helipad, our team will escort passengers for darshan.
- Approximate time for Badrinath Temple darshan: 1 to 1.5 hours.
- Passengers will be transported to the temple by car.
- After darshan, passengers will return to Badrinath helipad for their flight back to Sahastradhara Helidrome.
- Estimated arrival at Sahastradhara Helidrome: 1200 Hrs.
- On arrival, our team will be present to receive the passengers.
- Our team will arrange lunch for the passengers in Dehradun.
Important Points to Know About Do Dham Yatra Tour Package By Helicopter
- If passengers cancel their booking prior to or after commencement of the tour, the following cancellation charges will apply:
- More than 28 days prior to travel date: 30% of total tour cost.
- Between 15 to 28 days prior to travel date: 50% of total tour cost.
- 14 to 08 days prior to travel date: 75% of total tour cost.
- Less than 07 days prior to travel date: No Refund.
- No show: No Refund.
- After commencement of the tour: No Refund.
- COVID Travel Guidelines: All passengers must follow government-mandated COVID protocols. Boarding will be denied without refund if protocols are not followed.
- Seating Capacity: Helicopter seats 6 passengers.
- Helicopter Weight Limitation:
- Maximum passenger weight limit is 450 kg (excluding baggage).
- Passengers must provide exact body weight during booking.
- Deboarding and cancellation (without refund) will occur if weight exceeds limits.
- Overweight Charges:
- INR 1,500/kg for passengers weighing above 75 kg.
- Calculated based on total permissible weight = 75 kg x No. of passengers.
- Penalty on Submission of Incorrect Weight:
- INR 20,000 penalty if actual weight differs from declared weight.
- Overweight charges also apply.
- Passengers should declare weight including clothing and shoes.
- Tour Itinerary Changes:
- Dhams may be covered interchangeably depending on weather/force majeure.
- Refreshments/lunch may be arranged at Dhams or Dehradun depending on timing.
- Additional Day Buffer: Passengers are advised to keep one extra day to handle weather-related delays. Extra accommodation costs must be borne by passengers.
- Bad Weather & Force Majeure Disclaimer: Includes delays due to ATC clearances, VVIP movement, IAF flying, technical issues, crew illness, and late reporting by passengers.

- Medical Emergencies:
- Himalayan Heli is not liable for medical issues on ground.
- Medical check-up is advised before travel.
- Helicopter medical evacuation costs INR 1,30,000/hr + UCADA charges + GST.
- Carriage by Air Act, 1972:
- Carriage governed by relevant provisions of Carriage by Air Act, 1972.
- Liability terms as per Ministry of Civil Aviation Notification.
- Passenger Conduct: Unruly, abusive, intoxicated, sick, mentally unfit, or unsafe passengers may be denied boarding without refund.

- Boarding Condition: Passengers will not be allowed to board or begin the tour without full and final payment.
- Extra Charges on Card Payments:
- 3.5% extra for payments made via credit/debit card machine.
